How Sizing Works

Tags lie, fits drift, and decades of vintage washing changes everything. So we don't ask you to trust a size label — we measure every single piece flat, by hand, in inches. Lay the garment down, smooth it out, measure edge to edge. What you see on the page is the actual piece in your hands.

For bottoms

Waist— measured flat across the top of the waistband. Double it for the full waist circumference. A flat 15" means a ~30" waist.

Length — taken from the top of the waistband straight down to the hem (the full outseam / inseam read).

Leg opening — measured flat across the bottom hem, so you know if it tapers or stacks.

For tops

Pit-to-pit — measured flat from one underarm seam straight across to the other. Double it for the full chest.

Length — from the highest point of the shoulder straight down to the hem.

Condition grading

Secondhand isn't a flaw — it's the point. We grade honestly so there are no surprises:

ALike new — no notable wear
A−Excellent — light, barely-there wear
B+Good vintage wear — honest character, nothing major

The one trick that always works

Grab a garment you already own and love the fit of. Lay it flat, measure it the same way, and compare the numbers to ours. That's the most reliable fit check there is — no guessing, no returns. Still unsure? Message us on Instagram and we'll talk you through it.
